Tallinn Children's Hospital is the largest broad-based specialised level III hospital in Estonia. 
It is a centre of international research and training cooperation, applies modern treatment methods and technology, and strengthens centres of excellence in paediatric care. 
In addition to the paediatric and surgical departments, there is an anaesthesiology intensive care unit and a children's mental health centre.
75% of inpatient and 92% of outpatient services are targeted at children in Harju County, with certain specialties covering the whole of Estonia.
