Dragonfly House
Come and do an internship at the Goose House - a unique opportunity to work with exotic animals!
Goose House is a small family business that has been delighting animal lovers for over seven years. We started by breeding and showing tropical butterflies, but over time our world has expanded to include 21 parrots, a variety of small animals, fascinating insects and a lovely home café during the summer season.
We offer a traineeship as an animal keeper, where you will be part of the day-to-day care of our animals - feeding, cleaning cages and handling them. We are looking for brave and energetic people who are not afraid of animals, birds or insects and are prepared to do physical work.
If you want to spend time with nature and animals, get up close to exotic species and contribute to the work of a warm family farm, then we are waiting for you!
9. we will be presenting the company at a seminar at "Getting to know the Goose House"on 12 April at 12.00-12.30. A seminar for nature-loving students - we'll show you what we do.
Pakume praktikakohta usinale loomatalitajale.
Noor peab olema julge, ehk siis ei tohi karta linde, loomi ega putukaid(liblikaid ja ritsikaid), noor ei tohi karta füüsilist ega musta tööd.
Praktikale on võimalik kandideerida alates mai algusest!
Kui sul on huvi praktika vastu võta ühendust kas meili või telefoni teel.
The story of the Liblikamaja
The Goose House is a family endeavour, with all members contributing their skills. The idea grew out of a hobby gardener mother wanting to move to the countryside, and her daughter's visit to a London butterfly house gave her the idea to do something similar herself.
She researched butterfly materials, looked at other butterfly houses and experimented with keeping butterflies in room conditions. After the entrepreneurship training and the approval of the project funding, the company was set up and construction started.
The butterfly house was opened on 22 July 2018 with a classroom, a conservatory and a few dozen butterfly species. Over 500 people visited the butterfly house during the opening day.
Today, the aviary is finished and the pond is filled with colourful fish. A party room with a stage and an outdoor terrace with outdoor dining are available for events. For the younger members of the family, there is a playground. The old shed has been converted into an airsoft shooting range, where tournaments can be organised.
