We support the promotion of education and financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and the development of a sustainable society.

Swedbank is the largest bank in Estonia. Large enterprises have an important role and responsibility to contribute to shaping a successful future and a thriving society. We are aware of the impact of our actions, not only in the financial sector but also in areas that can drive societal change.

We have chosen three main areas of support: education and financial literacy, a sustainable society, and the promotion of entrepreneurship. Our contribution to supporting education projects has been most significant through initiatives like Noored Kooli (Teach for Estonia) and Tagasi Kooli (Back to School). Over the past 16 years, these programs have added over 370 people to the Estonian education system, and financial literacy has been shared with thousands of Estonian people.

We believe in education, science, and the idea that we create a smart future together. In 2025, we launched the Smart Future Fund with a target capital of 10 million euros, which invests in innovative education and science initiatives that help shape the future learning landscape. Our goal is to be a supporter, a thought partner, and an inspirer, ensuring that Estonian education maintains its strength, boldly meets future challenges, and fosters young people's belief in their boundless potential.
